Hi everybody, Steve Romjue pointed out to me that i needed to update this thing so here it is. After wrecking out at the world series and cutting the damage away from the car i decided it was time to start from scratch, so i'm now building a new car. The old one I'm going to modify for the Speedbowl so I can run a few races down there.
The new car will have a Jay Stuart cage and a bunch of changes based on things I've learned in the past few years and advice others have given me. The old car has been a good one but i figure you can only bend a piece of metal back and forth so many times before it breaks.
As far as the engine, i'm trying a few new things based on Brad Caddicks performance at the world series with it so it should be a little better. Brad did a few things to it that i was basically afraid to do because most of the time i was just thankful it ran.
I don't know about everyone else but i often find myself in a catch 22 situation as far as working a ton of overtime to pay for all of this and then make time to work on the car.
I'm sure at least a few of you know what it's like to try to keep one of these things going by yourself
